About Me
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist in Austin, TX, with over 20 years of clinical and research experience. My work sits at the intersection of clinical practice and scientific research — I study the same conditions I treat, and I bring that depth of understanding to every clinical encounter.

I specialize in the evidence-based assessment and treatment of OCD, ADHD, Misophonia, Perfectionism, and anxiety-related conditions, with particular expertise in complex presentations, differential diagnosis, and cases where previous treatment has not produced the expected results.

Clinical & Research Background
I completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Center for OCD and Related Disorders (CORD) at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, where I remain affiliated with the CORD Center at MGH. I am currently an Adjunct Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, and was previously a tenured Associate Professor and Director of the Neuropsychology and Psychopathology Lab at Texas State University for ten years.

My research focuses on the interaction between psychological disorders and cognitive function — specifically, how conditions such as OCD, ADHD, and anxiety disorders affect attention, memory, and executive function. This work has direct clinical implications: it informs how I assess and treat each client.

I serve as a Subject Matter Expert on OCD-ADHD comorbidity for the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), serve on the IOCDF Scientific Grant Committees, and regularly present my research at conferences in the US and Europe. In 2026, I co-authored a commissioned State-of-the-Art Review on the management of OCD, published in the BMJ — one of the world's leading medical journals. I was also recognized by ExpertScape as one of the top two neuropsychologists worldwide, based on peer-reviewed research publications from 2013 to 2023.

I have published over 70 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on OCD, ADHD, neuropsychology, perfectionism, and related conditions.
